The Travel Water Heater works great it boils water with in minutes. The product is well made very solid.
the only thing is that you have to scrub clean the inside of the pot on the bottom or else a thin layer of what looks like salt from the water drying after rinsing forms. The peole who sent it also accommodated my flight schedule and rushed the delivery. Works great, I just spent 3 weeks in Europe, and it worked perfectly. But other than that, works great.
Overall this is a great pot and was exactly what I've been looking for. The European plug that is attached to the pot did not fit into the US adapter plug that was sent with my unit. The only problem I had was with the US adapter plug. I have an extensive adapter collection, so it was not a problem for me, but otherwise would have made it impossible to test the unit before my trip to Italy. This is the perfect travel-size pot, with a 2 cup capacity. Water heats rapidly and has auto shut-off. (Adapter plugs are packaged separately, so it's possible the wrong one was was selected and placed in the box).
It may be a bit expensive but if you're a Flight Attendant or Pilot then you will get this product because it gives you the peace of mind knowing it's yours and yours only. I have used it in China, India, Europe and UK. I'm an International Flight Attendant and this is the perfect addition to all my traveling needs. It's light, easy to travel and works anywhere in the world. It's the perfect water heater.
The only downside is that it's expensive-I guess because of the low value of the dollar (it costs about 23 pounds in the UK) and it seems that there is no troubleshoot/technical information available if something goes wrong. I bought mine at Schiphol about 3 years ago and have used it nearly every time I travel, and at home too--it boils fast and it's perfect for that first cup of tea in the morning. This is the best electric kettle/water heater I've ever owned. It's small, so you can take it with you anywhere; it has a dual-voltage switch, so it works in the US as well as abroad. Sadly, mine has given out after a trip to Brazil and it now takes way too long to boil, this after having used it almost every day since I bought it.
